Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA PETRILLO (nee D'ABRAMO) It is with greatest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of wife, mother, grandmother and friend Maria Petrillo on April 27, 2005. Born on May 2, 1927 in Campochiaro, Italy, she immigrated to Winnipeg in December 1950. She was predeceased by her beloved son Peter on September 21, 2003 and by her parents, five brothers and one sister. Maria leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Pietro; son Gino (Luciana) of Montreal; daughters, Joanne and Anna of Winnipeg and Lucy of Montreal; her beloved grandchildren, Marlena, Vanessa and Pier-Paolo Petrillo all of Montreal. She will also be missed by her brother Emilio (Maria); brother-in-law Tony (Angela); sisters-in-law, Lina, Maria (Luigi) of Winnipeg and Gilda of Montreal; many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Montreal, Toronto, New York and Italy and many friends who she touched so deeply. Prayers in her memory will be held on Sunday, May 1 at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church with Entombment at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Pallbearers, Rocco, Adam and Ronnie Petrillo, Nick and Gino D'Abramo and Tony Lamorte. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army.
